Riven: from Windows 98 (se) to Windows XP?

I had Riven installed on my old computer, using Windows 98 (se) before the
computer crashed. I tried to install it on me new computer which uses
Windows XP, and even though it says it is installed, nothing happens when I
try to run it. Any suggestions?

Try right clicking on the Riven.exe program, select properties, select
compatibility, check "Run this program in compatibility mode:" and
select Windows 98. Hope this works and I hope this isn't too late.
